Remember sometime ago I mentioned a lawsuit about a guy who has created a bot enabeling World of Warcraft players to farm gold and items without playing the game themselves. The game creator Blizzard didn’t like that and sued the bot creator – Michael Donnelly. Now that lawsuit has been decided…in favor of Blizzard. See the opinion here. The court finds that use of the bot is not allowed by the EULA. Michael Donnelly is found guilty in copyright infringement, damages to be set at a later date.
