There is a number of initiatives from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office in these days. It looks like they are giving out christmas gifts early this year. Three initiatives have been launched recently:
- An increased effort towards stopping counterfeit medicines
- A cross-ministerial website on combating IP-piracy, with good examples and cases for both consumers and businesses
- An extension of the existing IP-marketplace to include designs. The first design on the site is “Round-plateau with Bathbasin, designed for normal inacessible water areas”. A neat feature of the site is that not onlys is it possible to sell your IP its also possible to post a request for solutions. That makes the site two way rather than passive one way.
